Christopher is a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist and the founder and Clinical Director of Archway Counseling and Wellness in St. Peters, MO.
Christopher brings to his therapy a healthy balance of warm compassion, skilled support, and acceptance. He encourages clients to actively participate in achieving their results while providing a comfortable, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment. He focuses on empowering clients to make positive life changes.
Christopher sees clients who present a variety of issues which can be divided into three primary areas:
- Relationship Dynamics – couples communication skills, affair recovery, intimacy concerns, marital difficulties, family relationships, codependency, conflict resolution, parenting skills and training, pre-marriage counseling, second marriages, and sexual issues.
- Addiction Recovery – pornography, masturbation, sex addiction, video games, social media and technology, gambling.
- Mental Health Counseling / Health and Wellness – ADHD in children, adolescents and adults, adolescent development, anxiety, depression, obesity and weight loss, stress-related issues
Christopher has extensive experience working with individuals, couples, adolescents, and families. He started his career doing in home therapy as well as in a private practice setting. Christopher counsels clients face-to-face in our St Peters, MO office as well as works with individuals, couples and families throughout the country and internationally via video conferencing. He provides a wide variety of counseling services and has worked closely with medical providers, clergy, school counselors, and other therapists to coordinate client care.
He holds a Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology in Springfield, MO. He also holds two Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Utah. He is a Clinical Fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and a Love and Logic Facilitator.
